About the event

Sno Jam Comedy Festival Presents Let It Sno Comedy Showcase at Club 224, a stand-up comedy showcase featuring 10 comedians from across the country.

Featuring:

Alisha Rayne (Sioux Falls, SD): Alisha Rayne is the founder of Bzzzline Entertainment. She produces the Bzzzline Comedy Showcase every last Thursday of the month. She hosts the Downtown Open Mic every Monday. Her comedy is absurdist and sentimental at the same time.

Akudo Ejelonu (Philadelphia, PA): Akudo Ejelonu is a fresh new comedian, sketch comedy writer, and improviser who originally hails from the Afrobeats capital of the world, Nigeria. You can find them performing at coffee shops, bars, theaters, and bus stops across the city.  When Akudo is not telling tales about her encounters with strangers or letting out her inner child on the stage, you can find them hiding from their niece and nephew. Ssh, don't tell her family. Follow them on Instagram at @naijiabae.

Jenni Lou Russi (Fargo, ND): Born in Ohio, and brewed in Alaska, Jenni Lou Russi began her career at Pierce Street Annex in Alaska and honed her comedy chops in showcases at the Cleveland Improv. She has shared the stage with Chad Daniels and Ryan Niemiller. Her comedy is clean enough that Jenni Lou has opened shows for Leanne Morgan, and bawdy enough to appear on stage with members of The Unbookables in a Dirty Birdie show at the famous Chilkoot Charlie’s. Festival credits include Alaska B4UDIE, Cleveland Comedy Festival, Fargo Comedy Festival, and SnoJam.

Lucus Larson (San Francisco, CA): Lucas Larson is an up-and-coming comedian based out of San Francisco by way of a small town in Colorado. He has been a finalist for Comedy Work’s Clean Comedy Competition and has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and multiple festivals across the U.S. Lucas should have been born on May the 4th and views life as a mosh pit. He is in the pit slinging jokes with small-town charm and big-city energy. Lucas is also a co-host of the podcast Cliff Notes Continued. Follow him online @lsquaredcomedy.

Josh di Donato (Atlanta, GA): Josh di Donato is one of the unsung pioneers of the LA Alternative comedy movement. In the 1990s, he produced a series of comedy shows that he brought to Largo, which became an iconic LA comedy destination. Josh opened for Sarah Silverman, Mitch Hedberg, Zach Galifianakis, Dave Chappelle, Maria Bamford, Janeane Garofalo, Marc Maron, Margaret Cho, Jackie Kashian, and many others. He now splits time between Atlanta and Chicago.  Lately, Josh has been making the festival rounds, appearing just in the last few years in the Plano Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, Blue Whale CF in Tulsa, Savage Henry CF, Mutiny Radio CF in SF, Funlap CF in Dunlap, Iowa, Four Corners CF in Durango, CO, San Luis Obispo CF, New South CF in Greenville, SC. After doing standup for 29 years, Josh is pretty sure this will be his year.

Thomas Nichols (Fort Collins, CO): Thomas Nichols is a stand-up comedian based out of Dallas, Texas. His unique and whip-smart observations span from everything from cartoons to politics to pineapple fanta - the laid-back funnyman transitions seamlessly from one tightly crafted joke to the next within the course of a single set. Deadpan, hilarious, and wise beyond his years, Nichols is a nationally touring comic who's been featured in the horror film “Subferatu” as Roosevelt. He’s also been a finalist in many comedy festivals like the Funniest Comic in Texas Competition, Seattle International Competition, and many more. His unique brand of friendly, effortless cool and his quick wit have made him a favorite recurring guest the most popular club across the country.

Ian Maclean (Sioux Falls, SD): Ian Maclean is an up-and-coming comedian from sunny Sioux Falls, SD. The locals regard him as a ""local legend"" and ""definitely not annoying."" Ian elegantly blends thoughtful, witty, and sometimes introspective humor with stupid, silly, slapstick buffoonery. It's like a glass of wine at a dive bar, or Kid Rock at the Metropolitan Opera.

Koerner (Sioux Falls, SD): Koerner has been making audiences laugh since 2019 with high-energy, offbeat, absurdist comedy. A Sno Jam Comedy Festival alum and three-time winner of Sioux Falls’ Larry Brinkman Award, Koerner blends comedy with a passion for niche subcultures like anime and wrestling for a delightfully unique comedic experience.

Luke Gaston (Fort Collins, CO): Luke Gaston is using the hell out of his art degree. Luke is a regular at The Comedy Fort in Fort Collins, CO where he regularly hosts The Comedy Fort open mic night. Since 2022, Luke has been a featured comedian at the High Plains Comedy Festival. Luke has performed with comedy titans Sean Patton, Jon Dore, Jordan Jensen, and many more. He produces community-driven comedy shows in Northern Colorado, featuring the best local and nationally touring comedians. Luke lives in Fort Collins, CO, with his wife, dog, and 2009 Honda Civic.

About the Fest:

Sno Jam Comedy Festival is a 501c3 nonprofit that celebrates comedy and…snow! That's right there is no other comedy festival like it. Over four days, comedians will be showcasing their talents through stand-up comedy and themed showcases, all the while supporting a good cause. Net proceeds benefit local non-profits.
