Sno Jam Comedy Festival Presents It's Sno Time Comedy Showcase at Remedy at 611, a stand-up comedy showcase featuring 10 comedians from across the country. 

Featuring:

Nathan Hults (Sioux Falls, SD): Performing since the age of 7. As a husband, a father, a son, and a ginger, livin life fast and hard has given Nathan plenty of experiences fit for the stage. He has perfected his positive and high-energy storytelling with quick wit and audience interaction. A stand-up comedian, actor, and producer, Nathan, has performed in Auditoriums, Bars, Comedy Clubs, Colleges, and Drafthouses across the country. Some achievements include a Finalist in the 2018 San Diego Comedy Festival, featured on Amazon Prime, Gilda’s LaughFest, Co-Founder and Co-Producer of the Sno Jam Comedy Festival, and Host of The Town Crier Podcast. 2022 Sioux Falls Funniest, and the winner of 2023 Last Comic Standing, the first recipient of the Sioux Falls Stage award for comedy. 

Bree Kalhorn (Omaha, NE): Bree Kalhorn got her start in standup by chance, after being dragged to an open mic in 2021. Her fresh take on comedy is candid and provocative. Beloved by hipsters and hippies, Bree was voted onto the "Best of Fest," showcase of The Laugh out Loveland Comedy Festival. She has also featured on the Funlap Comedy Festival and Des Comedie Festival. Locally, Bree is known for her sharp tongue, being dubbed the multi-time roast battle champion of Omaha. She was interviewed about this achievement on the KPAO Public Television Show, "Food and Laughter."

Eric Hook (Bloomington, IN): Eric Hook is a comedian based in Bloomington, Indiana. He is a regular performer at The Comedy Attic in Bloomington and Helium Comedy Club in Indianapolis. Eric was lucky enough to particpate in the Laughayette and Limestone Comedy Festivals in 2023. He has shared the stage with such acts as Shane Torres, Jordan Jensen, Laurie Kilmartin, and Pete Holmes.

Hayden Kristal (Pueblo, CO): Hayden Kristal is a Colorado-based former zookeeper who gave up a lucrative career path in salamanders to pursue comedy. Since then, their quick wit and cheerful self-deprecation have earned them a spot as an America’s Got Talent semifinalist, roles on Adult Swim/HBOMax’s Tuca and Bertie, and over a million followers on social media. When not on the road, Hayden lives on a farm with their girlfriend and equine-pals Chicken Elizabeth Nugget, Squidward, Debbi From Accounting, and Donkey Devito.

Jad S (New York City, NY): Former Marine/war correspondent/EMT turned NYC comic (NPR, The Mic, and The Machine, Risk! Live, The Jake Silberman Show, Social Animals).

Tyrel Frazier (Omaha, NE): Based out of Omaha, NE, Tyrel Frazier is a comic who’s known for his funny stories of just trying his best. Nominated for “Best Comedian” in ‘22 & ‘23 by the Omaha Arts and Entertainment Awards, when he’s not being “dad” to his two kids, he’s telling jokes everywhere from small-town bars to Omaha’s Funny Bone. His storytelling style of comedy is sure to grab your attention, and keep you non-stop laughing!

Wes Corwin (Dallas, TX / Norman, OK): Wes Corwin is a ball of pure nervous energy trying to pass itself off as a human. Wes has had his unique brand of humor featured on Cracked.com and Funny or Die. As a stand-up, he’s opened for nationally touring headliners like  Brian Regan, Aparna Nancherla, Godfrey, Keith Alberstadt, and Kurt Braunohler. He’s been featured at the Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin and Memphis Comedy Festival. In 2018, Wes was awarded “Best Comedian in Dallas” by the Dallas Observer and won the Improv’s “Funniest Comedian in Texas” contest. In 2020, works he animated appeared on an episode of Conan on TBS. In 2021, a pilot script he co-wrote won the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival’s Stand-Up & Pitch contest. When he’s off stage, Wes sits in front of his computer, struggling to effectively end his comedy bio.

Andrew Yang (Milford, MI): Andrew Yang is a comedian from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Voted “Best Comedian in Washtenaw County” in 2022 and 2023 by Current Magazine, Andrew runs shows at a punk rock venue in the Blind Pig and is a founder of the Tree Town Comedy Festival. Onstage, Andrew charms audiences with his energetic personality and engrossing stories mostly at his own expense. He has been fortunate enough to work with a few of his comedy heroes including Beth Stelling, and Jackie Kashian, and one time had lunch with Maria Bamford. Andrew has performed at festivals across the country including the Motor City Comedy Festival, Let’s Fest, and the Cleveland Comedy Festival, and has been featured on NPR. When he’s not on stage he’s probably on Yelp trying to decide what to eat later.

 Raegan Niemela (Milwaukee, WI): Raegan Niemela is a comedian and barfly out of Milwaukee, WI. She has performed in the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Madison’s Comedy Week, and High Planes Comedy Festival. In a soulless effort to get ahead, she has tricked and swindled her way into opening for the likes of Steph Tolev, Jackie Kashian, and Kyle Kinane. In her spare moments, you can find her nursing a High Life with a Marb Red.

Jayson Acevedo (Chicago, IL): Incomparable. Unpredictable. Tour de force. Adele's Understudy. Jayson Acevedo is a Chicago-born/based comedian who has opened for and/or shared the stage with Tim Meadows, Chris Redd, Godfrey, & Jeff Ross among many others. Acevedo’s comedy has proven to translate well internationally, having told jokes in five different countries, and two languages & throughout other comedy festivals from LA to New York, in between & beyond, most notably at The NBCUniversal/Second City BreakOut Comedy Festival (Chicago), The 2022 Lucille Ball Comedy Festival (NY), & The 2015 Edinburgh Fringe (Scotland) among many others. Most recently, Acevedo was named Best of Fest at The 2023 Burbank Comedy Festival (LA/Burbank, CA) Acevedo continues to perform regularly throughout the City of Chicago at notable venues such as The World-Famous Laugh Factory, Zanies, Lincoln Lodge, Second City, House of Blues, his nephews’ house, and more. Zach Funk (Pittsburgh, PA): Zach Funk is a Pittsburgh PA-based comedian and storyteller. He has performed in festivals across the country and in 2019 released his first full-length album “Brains Are Weid”. Equal parts heartfelt and nerdy Funk explores navigating mental health and life in a chaotic world.

About the Fest:

Sno Jam Comedy Festival is a 501c3 nonprofit that celebrates comedy and…snow! That's right there is no other comedy festival like it. Thirty comedians from around the country travel to Sioux Falls, SD to perform in various venues across the city showcasing their wits and endurance to the cold. Over four days, comedians will be showcasing their talents through stand-up comedy and themed showcases, all the while supporting a good cause. Net proceeds benefit local non-profits.
