About the event

Sno Jam Comedy Festival Presents Hot Coco Comedy Showcase at Remedy at 611, a stand-up comedy showcase featuring 10 comedians from across the country.

Featuring:

Luke Johnson (Sioux Falls, SD):

Lucus Larson (San Francisco, CA): Lucas Larson is an up-and-coming comedian based out of San Francisco by way of a small town in Colorado. He has been a finalist for Comedy Work’s Clean Comedy Competition and has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and multiple festivals across the U.S. Lucas should have been born on May the 4th and views life as a mosh pit. He is in the pit slinging jokes with small-town charm and big-city energy. Lucas is also a co-host of the podcast Cliff Notes Continued. Follow him online @lsquaredcomedy.

Luke Gaston (Fort Collins, CO): Luke Gaston is using the hell out of his art degree. Luke is a regular at The Comedy Fort in Fort Collins, CO where he regularly hosts The Comedy Fort open mic night. Since 2022, Luke has been a featured comedian at the High Plains Comedy Festival. Luke has performed with comedy titans Sean Patton, Jon Dore, Jordan Jensen, and many more. He produces community-driven comedy shows in Northern Colorado, featuring the best local and nationally touring comedians. Luke lives in Fort Collins, CO, with his wife, dog, and 2009 Honda Civic.

Luise Noé (Milwaukee, WI): Luise Noé currently resides in Milwaukee, having made her way from Germany over Austin to the Midwest. She makes silly jokes about immigration, capitalism, and other girly stuff—imagine Elle Woods trapped in the psychology of a European soccer hooligan! Luise is a regular at the Laughing Tap and recently opened for headliners Josh Adam Meyers and Dave Stone.

Tyrel Frazier (Omaha, NE): Based out of Omaha, NE, Tyrel Frazier is a comic who’s known for his funny stories of just trying his best. Nominated for “Best Comedian” in ‘22 & ‘23 by the Omaha Arts and Entertainment Awards, when he’s not being “dad” to his two kids, he’s telling jokes everywhere from small-town bars to Omaha’s Funny Bone. His storytelling style of comedy is sure to grab your attention, and keep you non-stop laughing!

Andrew Yang (Milford, MI): Andrew Yang is a comedian from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Voted “Best Comedian in Washtenaw County” in 2022 and 2023 by Current Magazine, Andrew runs shows at a punk rock venue in the Blind Pig and is a founder of the Tree Town Comedy Festival. Onstage, Andrew charms audiences with his energetic personality and engrossing stories mostly at his own expense. He has been fortunate enough to work with a few of his comedy heroes including Beth Stelling, and Jackie Kashian, and one time had lunch with Maria Bamford. Andrew has performed at festivals across the country including the Motor City Comedy Festival, Let’s Fest, and the Cleveland Comedy Festival, and has been featured on NPR. When he’s not on stage he’s probably on Yelp trying to decide what to eat later.

Koerner (Sioux Falls, SD): Koerner has been making audiences laugh since 2019 with high-energy, offbeat, absurdist comedy. A Sno Jam Comedy Festival alum and three-time winner of Sioux Falls’ Larry Brinkman Award, Koerner blends comedy with a passion for niche subcultures like anime and wrestling for a delightfully unique comedic experience.

Morgan Gallo (Denver, CO): A Denver-based comedian and producer, Morgan recently appeared on LMAOF on OFTV, and is currently touring across the country. As a creative partner with DUDE, IDK Studios, Morgan produces several comedy podcasts, live shows, and other creative projects when she's not on the road. She's amassed over 600K followers across social platforms and is known for her outright silly perspective on body image, confidence, and women's issues.

Khadijah Cooper (Minneapolis, MN): Khadijah Cooper grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis as an only child. Working as the Education Director of a local non-profit focusing on adolescent sexual health, her confidence in public speaking coupled with her quick wit gave her the fuel she needed to burst onto the comedy scene in February 2018; making her name known. In March 2019 Khadijah was in the top 5 for the Best Comedian for the City Pages Best of the Twin Cities. In 2021 Khadijah was named one of 5 comedians to watch! In  2023 Khadijah was accepted into Limestone Comedy Festival, Big Pine Comedy Festival & 10k Laughs Comedy Festival!  Her point of view in her stand up as a mother, a Sexuality Educator Director, and someone who has confidence and comfort in her skin makes her irresistible to laugh with and relate to!

Lou Pharis (Denver, CO): Lou Pharis is a Denver-based stand-up comedian who uses his high energy and outrageous experiences in the classroom to keep crowds laughing. Lou is a rapidly rising comic that features at comedy clubs, festivals, and private events across the US and the UK. His comedy has netted over 70 million views on social media. Weaponizing his ADHD, Lou vividly details the ridiculous happenings of his teaching career, his Cajun upbringing, and the societal norms of his time in the South. Lou has been seen on Bored Teachers and NBC was a finalist in the Comedy Works New Faces competition, and has been featured across New York, London, and Hawaii.

About the Fest:
