About the event
Sno Jam Comedy Fest proudly presents LGBTLOL Queer Comedy Showcase — featuring a hysterical, all-star lineup of LGBTQIA+ comedians and hilarious allies in an uproarious, standup show. Experience a non-stop laugh riot with some of the funniest queer-identifying comedians from around the country, all in one place. Hosted by comedian and founder of the LGBTLOL Queer Comedy Fest based in New Orleans, Ryan Rogers.
Featuring:
Ryan Rogers (New Orleans, LA): Ryan refracts the world through his brazen, queer, side-splitting humor. He performs all over America – harnessing his one-of-a-kind effervescence to light up any stage. “Rogers is a grinder in the mold of most successful comics,” said Andrew Comer of Offbeat Magazine. The Acadiana Advocate called his rise to stardom “meteoric.” Ryan is the founder of LGBTLOL Queer Comedy Fest, and has performed at Nola Comedy Fest, Mobile Comedy Fest, Portland Comedy Fest, Overlook Film Fest, P3 Comedy Fest, Albuquerque Funny Fiesta, and Hell Yes Fest. In 2022, Ryan released his debut comedy album “She Is Me” on more than 30 platforms globally to resoundingly positive reviews. The Current called it “proudly perverse.” Ryan is also the creator and showrunner of “CHERRY!” a national partnership with Virgin Hotels, “STAGE FRIGHT” a spooky show created for Hotel Saint Vincent, “SNAKE BIT!” at The Southern Hotel, and “EXBOYFRIEND MATERIAL” a gameshow about heartbreak. In 2022, Ryan hosted “WITHOUT RHYME NOR REASON” a national comedy tour about mental health & suicide prevention for collegiate sororities. When he’s not performing, he’s usually taking a nap with his loving husband and co-producer, Drew at their home in New Orleans.
Akudo Ejelonu (Philadelphia, PA): Akudo Ejelonu is a fresh new comedian, sketch comedy writer, and improviser who originally hails from the Afrobeats capital of the world, Nigeria. You can find them performing at coffee shops, bars, theaters, and bus stops across the city. When Akudo is not telling tales about her encounters with strangers or letting out her inner child on the stage, you can find them hiding from their niece and nephew. Ssh, don't tell her family. Follow them on Instagram at @naijiabae.
Bailey Pope (New York City, NY): Bailey Pope (She/Her/Etc) is a New York-based Comedian, writer, and actress. She’s been featured on Roku Comedy Network and at festivals including Limestone, World Comedy Expo, and West End Comedy Fest. Bailey is a regular at NYC clubs including Broadway, Greenwich Village, Eastville, and countless indie shows in and around the NYC area.
Dale Dymkoski (Los Angeles, CA): Dale Dymkoski claims to be the world’s deafest, fittest stroke survivor. Based in LA, Dale has appeared on the main stages at legendary clubs the Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, Improv, and Ice House. Comedy festivals include North Carolina, Burbank, Sno Jam, Antelope Valley, and the World Series of Comedy. He has opened and featured for Jeremy Piven, among others. TV credits include LAW & ORDER: SVU and SCANDAL.
Hayden Kristal (Pueblo, CO): Hayden Kristal is a Colorado-based former zookeeper who gave up a lucrative career path in salamanders to pursue comedy. Since then, their quick wit and cheerful self-deprecation have earned them a spot as an America’s Got Talent semifinalist, roles on Adult Swim/HBOMax’s Tuca and Bertie, and over a million followers on social media. When not on the road, Hayden lives on a farm with their girlfriend and equine-pals Chicken Elizabeth Nugget, Squidward, Debbi From Accounting, and Donkey Devito.
Ian Maclean (Sioux Falls, SD): Ian Maclean is an up-and-coming comedian from sunny Sioux Falls, SD. The locals regard him as a ""local legend"" and ""definitely not annoying."" Ian elegantly blends thoughtful, witty, and sometimes introspective humor with stupid, silly, slapstick buffoonery. It's like a glass of wine at a dive bar, or Kid Rock at the Metropolitan Opera.
Zach Funk (Pittsburgh, PA): Zach Funk is a Pittsburgh PA-based comedian and storyteller. He has performed in festivals across the country and in 2019 released his first full-length album “Brains Are Weid”. Equal parts heartfelt and nerdy Funk explores navigating mental health and life in a chaotic world.
Raegan Niemela (Milwaukee, WI): Raegan Niemela is a comedian and barfly out of Milwaukee, WI. She has performed in the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Madison’s Comedy Week, and High Planes Comedy Festival. In a soulless effort to get ahead, she has tricked and swindled her way into opening for the likes of Steph Tolev, Jackie Kashian, and Kyle Kinane. In her spare moments, you can find her nursing a High Life with a Marb Red.
Luise Noé (Milwaukee, WI): Luise Noé currently resides in Milwaukee, having made her way from Germany over Austin to the Midwest. She makes silly jokes about immigration, capitalism, and other girly stuff—imagine Elle Woods trapped in the psychology of a European soccer hooligan! Luise is a regular at the Laughing Tap and recently opened for headliners Josh Adam Meyers and Dave Stone.
Thomas Nichols (Fort Collins, CO): Thomas Nichols is a stand-up comedian based out of Dallas, Texas. His unique and whip-smart observations span from everything from cartoons to politics to pineapple fanta - the laid-back funnyman transitions seamlessly from one tightly crafted joke to the next within the course of a single set. Deadpan, hilarious, and wise beyond his years, Nichols is a nationally touring comic who's been featured in the horror film “Subferatu” as Roosevelt. He’s also been a finalist in many comedy festivals like the Funniest Comic in Texas Competition, Seattle International Competition, and many more. His unique brand of friendly, effortless cool and his quick wit have made him a favorite recurring guest the most popular club across the country.
